Rhian graduated from Edinburgh College of Art, specialising in glass, and gained an MA
from the University of Wales Trinity Saint David. Solo exhibitions include: Venice Glass
Week, Ruthin Craft Centre, Mission Gallery Swansea, Long Gallery, National Glass
Centre. Artist in Residence placements include, Ruthin Craft Centre, Edinburgh College of
Art, Bardsey Island, Wales in Venice Invigitaltor plus at the Venice Biennale. Rhian was
awarded the Gold Medal for Craft and Design at the National Eisteddfod of Wales, and a
Creative Wales Award by the Arts Council of Wales. Her work has been selected for New
Glass Review publication, Corning. Group exhibitions include National Centre for Craft and
Design, National Museum of Scotland and the British Glass Biennale.
