Lola invites viewers into the living pulse of the Welsh landscape, translating sensation into colour, motion, and form. Each painting emerges from her close encounters with the terrain of West Wales—its mutable weather, open skies, and shifting light. Rather than depicting scenes, she constructs experiences: moments of immersion where memory, atmosphere, and material converge.
Her paintings unfold through instinctive movement and fluid gesture, capturing not what is seen, but what is felt. Marks are layered, dissolved, and redefined until they echo the expansive stillness or wild energy of the land itself.
