AUR: In collaboration with Craft Festival Wales

To celebrate the National Eisteddfod's historic return to Cardigan after 850 years, Oriel Canfas and Craft Festival Wales are proud to present Aur — a once-in-a-generation exhibition bringing together Gold Medal winners in both fine art and craft.
Curated by Suzi Park and Sarah James MBE, Director of Craft in Wales, the exhibition opens the night before the Eisteddfod with a special event in town on 31 July, with music from Julie Murphy and Ceri Rhys Matthews of Fernhill.
As proud sponsor of the Gold Medal for Fine Art at this year's Eisteddfod y Garreg Las, Oriel Canfas Cardigan has assembled an extraordinary roll call of previous medal winners for this landmark show.
Aur runs 1 August – 13 September, closing to coincide with the return of the Craft Festival to Cardigan Castle, directly opposite the gallery, 11–13 September.
