Rebecca Wyn Kelly
“My work balances opposing forces—order and disarray—mirroring our intricate relationship with nature”
Rebecca Wyn Kelly’s practice forges a dialogue between material and place, grounding the ephemeral in the physical while balancing fragility and resilience. Her sculptures and installations explore the dialogue between human intervention and the natural world, capturing moments of disintegration, renewal, and transformation. Working with found objects imbued with history, she allows their traces of past use to inform new narratives, evoking memory and presence. Installed across galleries and open landscapes, her works reflect the cycles of decay and regeneration inherent in nature. Through these gestures of growth, collapse, and renewal, Rebecca’s practice becomes a meditation on resilience, loss, and the quiet endurance of change within the entwined beauty and brutality of the natural world.
