Nick Kinver
“Everything I make is an experiment- each piece is unique.”

Nick has worked with wood, leather, stone and metal for over 47 years, designing and crafting furniture, sculpture and form-functional pieces inspired by North Pembrokeshire's landscape. After studying at Leicester College of Art and Loughborough College of Art, he spent twelve years working alongside the late John Cleal. Guided by a deep sensitivity to nature's inherent lines and quiet beauty, Nick's recent work explores movement and the expressive potential of wood. Incorporating pebbles, copper and carbonised finishes, he investigates flowing lines, texture and colour. Each piece is a unique experiment, leading naturally to the next, as he seeks harmony between form, line and expression. His tactile sculptures invite both visual appreciation and physical engagement.
