Mari Catrin Phillips, known by their artistic name Mythsntits, is a Welsh illustrator based in Cardiff, originally from Pembrokeshire in West Wales. Mari’s work combines traditional and digital mediums to explore themes of queer and feminist history, mythology, and identity. By reinterpreting folklore and historical narratives with humour and irreverence, Mari creates art that is both playful and thought-provoking, aiming to empower marginalized voices and challenge societal norms. Mari is passionate about Pop Culture and its impact on society and uses painting and screen printing to communicate their beliefs to both younger and older generations. Mari’s work has expanded into a variety of creative projects, collaborating with a range of notable organizations and individuals.
