Angharad Taris
Wind, Water, Trees and Light 02/03/2024 - 30/03/2024Mae gwaith Angharad Taris wedi'i wreiddio yn arfordir gorllewinol Cymru, wedi'i lunio gan berthynas gydol oes â'r tir, y môr a'r awyr. Mae ei phaentiadau'n deffro naws ac ysbryd y dirwedd yn hytrach na chynrychiolaeth fanwl gywir, gan fynegi profiadau mewnol ac allanol trwy olau, lliw a chof. Wedi'i hegni gan yr elfennau a'r tymhorau newidiol, mae hi'n peintio ar leoliad, gan greu gweithiau a ddisgrifir fel "cerddi mewn paent".
*
Angharad Taris' work is rooted in the west coast of Wales, shaped by a lifelong relationship with the land, sea, and sky. Her paintings evoke the mood and spirit of the landscape rather than precise representation, expressing internal and external experiences through light, colour, and memory. Energised by the elements and changing seasons, she paints on location, creating works described as “poems in paint.”

Mae'r ddau fyd yn cydfodoli ond maent yn gwbl ar wahân ac yn symbiotig yn rhyfedd.
*
An exciting double show of two multiverses, with Carmarthen painter Alex Fox-Robinson’s figurative narrative paintings and Joe Frowen’s dystopian future ceramics, that have travelled through space and time into the present. Both worlds co-exist yet are completely separate and strangely symbiotic.

Mae'r corff hwn o waith yn adlewyrchu profiad byw Natalie ei hun ar yr ymylon, lle mae'r frwydr i oroesi a'r frwydr i dyfu yn anwahanadwy. Nid yw'n ymwneud â chamfanteisio na sbectol, ond am wydnwch, hunaniaeth, a rhoi llais i bynciau sy'n cael eu hanwybyddu'n rhy aml.

All the Stories I Could Never Tell is an exploration of growing up within systems that often feel designed to hold you back. This body of work reflects Natalie's own lived experience at the margins, where the struggle to survive and the fight to grow are inseparable. It is not about exploitation or spectacle, but about resilience, identity, and giving a voice to subjects that are too often overlooked.
